SEMH Teaching Assistants

Randstad Education is currently recruiting dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistants to support primary pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs across Leeds. Whether you prefer full-time long-term assignments or flexible day-to-day placements, we have rewarding opportunities tailored to your strengths.
Key Requirements
- UK Experience: Recent, verifiable experience (minimum 6 months) working with children in a UK school, alternative provision, or youth setting.
- SEMH and Behaviour Management: Strong understanding of SEMH needs, trauma-informed practices, and de-escalation strategies to support pupils with complex emotional or behavioural challenges.
- Safeguarding and Compliance: An Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to complete one with Randstad).
