Randstad Education is currently recruiting an empathetic and proactive 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a primary pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN) at a welcoming primary school in Leeds. This role offers the opportunity to provide tailored learning support, foster independence, and build a strong, positive dynamic with the pupil and classroom teacher.
Key Requirements
- UK Experience: Recent, verifiable experience (minimum 6 months) working with children in a UK school or educational setting.
- SEN Knowledge: Proven experience supporting pupils with specific educational needs, such as Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
- Safeguarding and Compliance: An Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to complete one with Randstad).
