Part-Time Supply Teacher Opportunity in Mansfield, Derbyshire
Our client, a highly regarded educational institution in Mansfield, Derbyshire, is seeking a dedicated and experienced part-time Supply Teacher to join their team. In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the academic growth and development of our students, providing exceptional educational experiences in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of subject areas, tailored to the diverse needs of our students
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth
- Collaborate with the wider teaching staff to ensure a cohesive and enriching educational experience
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress and attendance
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to continuously improve your teaching practice
- Adhere to all school policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and nurturing learning environment

Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in your chosen subject area
- Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS)
- Previous experience in a supply teaching capacity or as a classroom teacher, preferably in a similar educational setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
- Flexible and adaptable teaching approach, with the ability to cover a variety of subjects and age groups
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to continually improve your teaching practice
Desirable Skills
- Specialist knowledge or expertise in one or more subject areas
- Experience in using technology and digital resources to enhance student learning
- Proven track record of delivering innovative and engaging lessons
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the wider school community
- Enthusiasm for extracurricular activities and a willingness to get involved in the broader life of the school

Salary
The salary for this part-time Supply Teacher role is £140-£180 per day, offering a competitive compensation package that reflects the value we place on our teaching staff.
