Supply Teacher - Worksop

Academics, a leading education recruitment agency, is actively seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Teachers to support primary schools across Worksop. We have a range of opportunities available, from daily supply to long-term and temporary-to-permanent roles, starting from September 2026.

Key Responsibilities as a Supply Teacher - Worksop

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across Early Years, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
  • Follow school planning where provided and adapt lessons to meet the needs of the class.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents where appropriate.
  • Ensure continuity of learning during staff absences.

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience teaching within a primary school setting, including Early Years, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
  • A flexible, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality education and maintaining continuity for pupils.
