Supply Teaching Assistant – Croydon
Location: Croydon, South London
Salary: £90–£100 per day
Contract: Full-time, long-term temporary
Start date: 21 September 2026
Transparency Education is recruiting an adaptable Supply Teaching Assistant for a welcoming primary school in Croydon. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced support professional who enjoys working across different year groups and can quickly become a dependable part of a school team.
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you may support whole-class learning, lead small groups or provide focused help to pupils who need additional encouragement. The school offers clear routines, approachable leadership and a positive, inclusive atmosphere.
Your role will include:
- Supporting learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 as required
- Delivering teacher-planned activities to individuals and small groups
- Helping pupils remain engaged, organised and ready to learn
- Supporting children with SEND or additional learning needs where appropriate
- Promoting positive behaviour and assisting with classroom preparation

We would like to hear from candidates with:
- Recent primary-school or relevant childcare experience
- The confidence to adapt quickly to different classes and routines
- Strong communication, initiative and behaviour-management skills
- A Level 2 or Level 3 teaching assistant qualification, desirable
- The right to work in the UK
