I’m currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounting professional looking to take their career in a different direction and move into FinTech. This is a great opportunity to join an established, supportive team where you’ll use your accounting knowledge to help customers, while receiving structured training and ongoing development.
Role Overview
As a Support Accountant, you’ll be responsible for:
- Acting as a first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and online chat
- Providing accurate and timely support on accounting and bookkeeping queries
- Delivering customer training through outbound calls
- Proactively contacting customers to offer support and guidance
- Helping prospective customers understand the product and how it can support their business
- Supporting the product team by testing new features and functionality

Ideal Candidate
Ideally, you’ll have:
- 2–3+ years of practical accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting processes, ideally including VAT, payroll/RTI, and Self Assessment
- Experience gained within an accountancy practice, bookkeeping environment, accounts role, or similar
- Strong IT skills and an interest in technology
- An understanding of bookkeeping and accounting software
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A genuine interest in helping people and solving problems
