Job Overview

Are you an organised, proactive, and compassionate administrator looking to make a difference in patient care? We are looking for a Support Administrator to join our friendly and supportive Rheumatology team.

In this rewarding role, you will provide a comprehensive administrative and clerical service to our Consultants, clinical professionals, and wider multidisciplinary team, helping to ensure patients receive an efficient and high-quality service.

You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the department, managing a varied workload, coordinating administrative activities, and acting as a professional point of contact for patients, clinicians, and colleagues. Working both independently and as part of a dedicated team, you will use your initiative, organisational skills, and attention to detail to help maintain a smooth and effective service.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a passionate, organised, and motivated individual who thrives in a busy and fast-paced environment to join our team of Rheumatology Medical Secretaries.

A significant part of the role will involve the timely and accurate processing of clinical correspondence, ensuring effective communication with patients, GPs, healthcare professionals, and other agencies.

Working closely with Consultants and the wider multidisciplinary team, you will help coordinate administrative processes, manage a varied workload, and contribute to the delivery of a high-quality, patient-focused service. You will be expected to use your initiative, prioritise tasks effectively, and work collaboratively with colleagues to support the best possible outcomes and experience for our patients.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
