Support Assistant
We are looking for a Support Assistant on a part-time basis of 25 hours a week spread across different shifts to provide high-quality person-centred support to individuals in all aspects of daily living, promoting independence, tenancy sustainment, community engagement, and positive outcomes while ensuring services are delivered in line with Delta’s values, policies, and procedures.
What you'll be doing
- To support individuals with daily living activities, including personal care, tenancy sustainment, goal setting, and participation in meaningful activities.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, monitoring, and review of support plans to ensure they reflect individual needs, aspirations, and outcomes.
- Ensure all support is delivered in accordance with organisational policies, procedures, legislative requirements, and safeguarding, health, and safety standards.
- Support the safe operation of the service, including medication administration, appointment support, and completion of routine operational tasks.
- Communicate effectively with individuals, colleagues, families, and partner professionals to ensure coordinated and responsive support.

What we are looking for
- QCF level 3 (or working towards this qualification).
- The ability to effectively both alone and as part of a team.
- Commitment to always delivering excellence in customer service.
- Basic understanding and promoting the needs, rights, equality, and diversity of the people we support.
- The ability to communicate effectively orally, in writing, electronically with colleagues, interested other professionals, and the people we support.
Please note the office expectancy of this role is as follows: This role requires you to be based on site for the 25 hours per week. We require flexibility around working hours as shifts may vary on a weekly basis.

- 25 days pro rata annual leave per annum, plus bank holidays, 3 extra days between Christmas and New Year, and 1 wellbeing day per annum.
- 25 hours per week - employees may be able to work flexibly by agreement with their line manager, taking account of business need. We operate a hybrid working policy at Delta Housing Ltd.
