About the Role
Pabulum Catering are now recruiting for a Support Chef Manager covering Essex and North London to help us deliver exceptional food experiences to our children.
As a Support Chef, you will be working in a passionate and hard-working team to create an outstanding experience for our school.

With over 120 sites across Southern England there’s plenty of opportunity for you to grow, learn and develop. We are now seeking a talented Support Chef to join our fantastic team!
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Working together with our onsite teams to provide support and training
- Supporting our portfolio of schools to maintain the smooth running of the kitchen
- To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch, and following the companies brand standards
- To comply with all Company policies and regulations in respect of health, safety, and environmental management at work and to ensure the highest standards of kitchen practice and hygiene
- Take responsibility for menu planning, production levels, food costing, ordering and stock control, as appropriate.
Our Ideal Support Chef Will Be
- Passionate about food and great customer service
- A fantastic communicator who works well as part of a team. Good communication skills throughout our customer and client journey are a must, with excellent supervisory skills being the real key to managing, developing, and motivating a team.
- You will need to be financially astute, but we'll make sure you receive full training in all our processes and software systems to help you.
- A craft background with qualifications/experience to match.
