Infrastructure Engineer

📍 Primarily Remote | Occasional Travel to Peterborough
ÂŁ50k

Our client is currently supporting a major infrastructure transformation programme for a leading client, and as the project continues to expand, they’re looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join the team.

This is an opportunity to work across a large-scale enterprise environment, combining hands-on operational support with involvement in critical infrastructure and platform delivery projects. The successful candidate will be comfortable working across both Windows and VMware technologies, with strong troubleshooting capability and experience supporting complex environments in a highly structured operational setting.

The Role

You’ll join an established infrastructure team responsible for supporting and evolving a large-scale enterprise platform through multiple project phases. The role combines BAU operational support with project-based engineering work, giving you exposure to infrastructure deployments, systems administration, patching, automation, and performance optimisation across a broad technical estate.

What You’ll Be Doing

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
