Partnering with a Leading Global Trading Firm
We have partnered with a leading global trading firm with offices in Amsterdam and are looking to expand its IT Operations team.
In this role, you will take the lead on building efficient desk configurations, moving employees, setting up new desktops, and helping people get the most out of the technology tools.
This position forms the first line of support for IT problems and requests, coordinating with the other members of the IT Operations teams as necessary to resolve end users' requests and keep our employees productive.

Responsibilities
- Manage the installation and configuration of desktop computing solutions.
- Lead the rollout of Ubuntu-managed devices, including building out management, patching, and policy from the ground up.
- Application Management including configuration and version control.
- Provide escalation level support.
- Facilitate technology setups for new employees and role changes.
- Work with external vendors and suppliers as required.
This is You
- Experience supporting Windows and Linux environments.
- Familiarity with Ubuntu Landscape for management, patching automation, auditing, and access management.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins, for automating build, test, and deployment processes.
- Proficiency with Git for version control.
- Able to multitask and prioritize efficiently.
- Knowledge of basic networking concepts.
- Experience working with virtual desktops.
