Support Engineer - Elstree, Hertfordshire
£30,000
Office-based with occasional travel (vehicle provided)
About the Role
An established IT services provider based in Elstree, Hertfordshire is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join its growing team, working full-time from their Elstree office. The business has just secured a new contract with a well-known household name client, and is expanding its whole operation by 50%, offering genuine scope to grow alongside the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support via help desk tickets, email, and phone.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across Windows and macOS environments.
- Support Microsoft Office and other business applications.
- Configure and maintain network components including LAN, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Assist with system setup, installations, and upgrades.
- Log and resolve issues using tools such as Atera, Splashtop, and AnyDesk.

Required Skills and Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in IT support or IT consulting within a corporate environment.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and common hardware components.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+ or Microsoft Certified Support Technician are advantageous but not essential.
