Cambusbarron Primary School is recruiting for a temporary Support for Learning Assistant until 25th June 2027.

Cambusbarron Primary School is looking for a committed, compassionate, and inspiring support for learning assistant to join our nurturing team.
Role Description
In this role, you will join a positive and solution-focused team to assist in supporting children to engage with learning across the curriculum. You will demonstrate a commitment to develop professionally through training and provide supporting, nurturing care to your learners and staff. You will undertake a range of activities that may include general supervision, personal care, and ensuring the well-being of the children under the direction of teaching staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Work effectively 1:1, in small groups, or supporting in class and outdoor learning as required.
- Demonstrate good communication and teamwork skills.
- Enjoy being part of a supportive, adaptable, and positive team.

Qualifications
- Experience working with children would be preferable.
Requirements
- Required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.
