Cambusbarron Primary School is recruiting for a temporary Support for Learning Assistant until 25th June 2027.

Cambusbarron Primary School is looking for a committed, compassionate, and inspiring support for learning assistant to join our nurturing team.

Role Description
In this role, you will join a positive and solution-focused team to assist in supporting children to engage with learning across the curriculum. You will demonstrate a commitment to develop professionally through training and provide supporting, nurturing care to your learners and staff. You will undertake a range of activities that may include general supervision, personal care, and ensuring the well-being of the children under the direction of teaching staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work effectively 1:1, in small groups, or supporting in class and outdoor learning as required.
  • Demonstrate good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Enjoy being part of a supportive, adaptable, and positive team.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children would be preferable.

Requirements
