Temporary Support for Learning Assistants

Closing Date: 21st October 2026
Contract Type: Temporary until 25th June 2027
Salary: £17,982 - £18,763
Hours: 27.5 hours per week

Cambusbarron Primary School is recruiting for temporary Support for Learning Assistants until 26th June 2027.

We are looking for committed, compassionate, and inspiring support for learning assistants to join our nurturing team.

In this role you will join a positive and solution-focused team to assist in supporting children to engage with learning across the curriculum. You will demonstrate a commitment to develop professionally through training and provide supporting, nurturing care to your learners and staff. You will undertake a range of activities that may include general supervision, personal care, and ensuring the well-being of the children under the direction of teaching staff. You will be required to work effectively 1:1, in small groups, or supporting in class and outdoor learning as required.

Good communication and teamwork skills are essential and you should enjoy being part of a supportive, adaptable, and positive team.
