Support Office Specialist - Seasonal and Events Operations

We are currently recruiting for a Support Office Specialist - Seasonal and Events Operations to work in the Retail Support Office and be the bridge between Retail and Commercial for all Event activity.

As a Support Office Specialist you will help the business improve and make the right decisions for customers and colleagues working on operational related projects, driving selling culture in store and analysing data to help you make decisions. You'll ensure they are right for stores, they have simple training, communication and hours to do the job, whilst responding to their queries in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Acting as the strategic liaison between commercial teams and retail operations, leveraging subject matter expertise to align head-office strategy with store execution
  • Communicate all key seasonal and event activity to stores
  • Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders around the business - you are sought out for your guidance and are an expert in your area
  • You're a key point of contact for Stores, Store Managers and Regional Managers providing insight and resolving challenges

This is a hybrid role operating over a four and a half day working week*. This role is based at our fantastic head office in Bradford. Boasting an on-site restaurant, coffee shop, convenience and sample store, prayer room, free parking and regular company-wide events and promotions. Ideally, applicants will live within a reasonable distance of our office.

About You

  • Understanding of other functions within retail and the wider business to aid decision making is an advantage
  • The ability to understand customers requirements and respond to their feedback
  • The ability to use objectivity and challenge stakeholders where needed ensuring a strong customer focus
  • Good organisational, prioritisation and decision making skills
  • Strong digital skills, expert in all Google applications and other software packages needed to provide insight and build reports.
  • Strong problem solving & communication skills
  • Ability to deliver under pressure and in situations of ambiguity
  • The ability to work with multiple stakeholders across the business and at all levels of seniority
  • The ability to influence stakeholders across the business to support the plan
  • Commercial understanding of how certain decisions impact the business and our stakeholders
