Job Opportunity: Support Operator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Support Operator based in United Kingdom.

This is a fully remote customer-facing role at the intersection of technical support, live esports operations, and data quality. You will join a globally distributed support team responsible for helping major esports and gaming partners keep tournaments running smoothly. Your work will span the full tournament lifecycle, from pre-event configuration through live monitoring and post-event issue resolution. You will troubleshoot data discrepancies, coordinate with customers across multiple communication channels, and escalate complex technical problems when needed. The role offers the opportunity to build deep expertise in esports titles, live data workflows, and a rapidly evolving technology environment. It is well suited to someone who combines a strong customer-first mindset with curiosity about competitive gaming and an ability to stay calm under pressure.

Accountabilities

  • Collaborate with esports tournament organizers to ensure events and content are correctly configured for accurate data collection and distribution.
  • Monitor live esports data feeds to maintain accuracy, integrity, quality, and uninterrupted delivery to customers.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve real-time data discrepancies, delays, technical issues, and feed interruptions, escalating complex cases to engineering when appropriate.
  • Communicate directly with customers and partners through channels such as email, Slack, Discord, Telegram, and Microsoft Teams to acknowledge, investigate, and resolve operational and data-related questions.
  • Support customers throughout the esports tournament lifecycle, including preparation, live events, and post-event activities.
  • Identify recurring defects and operational challenges, document them clearly, and contribute insights that can improve products, processes, and customer experience.
  • Log and track data-quality issues and process problems to ensure effective follow-up and resolution.
  • Continuously expand knowledge of competitive esports titles, tournament formats, rules, and internal products to improve troubleshooting and decision-making.
  • Contribute to and maintain the internal knowledge base, sharing useful information with colleagues, partners, and customers.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
