You're in luck as our amazing #TeamNLStrathclyde in Airdrie are on the lookout for a caring and reliable individual to join them on a part-time (18-26 hours per week) basis.
Our Team and the Individual You'll Support
As a Support Practitioner you'll become part of a friendly team who provides invaluable support to a fun loving gentleman with complex needs in his own home.
You'll build a genuine relationship with him and be part of moments that really matter; whether it's providing support while cooking, achieving a goal, going to clubs, attending hydrotherapy or just feel understood.
Being a Support Practitioner is more than just a job, there's no better feeling than going home after every shift knowing that you've made a positive difference in someone's life.
The gentleman has his own mobility car so we would need you to be a driver with a full UK manual drivers licence. Due to one of the activities the person we support attends being hydrotherapy, you would need to be happy to supporting them in the water.
About You
You don’t need previous care experience we care more about who you are and the values you bring. Full training and support will be provided, including a funded SVQ qualification.

Shift Patterns
As we're dedicated to providing the best support possible, shift patterns for this opportunity typically start at 10am or 4.30pm 7 days a week and can include a sleepover. Weekends and public holidays are shared on a rotational basis.
The sleepover shift is not included in your contracted hours, so you will receive an additional £107.60 for each sleepover worked.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.

If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
