We have permanent 24-hour-per-week opportunities available, working across different services within Bellshill and Coatbridge.
The Role
This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll have the opportunity to work across different services, support different people and experience something new every day.
You Could Be Supporting People To
- Enjoy hobbies and activities
- Get out into the community
- Complete everyday tasks and shopping
- Prepare meals and manage their home
- Enjoy trips out, social activities and days out
You’ll also provide support with things like appointments, medication, personal care and daily living, depending on the needs of the people you’re supporting.

What We're Looking For - What Matters Most
No experience, don't worry, we're more interested in what you as a person will bring to our team.
We'll give you full training, pay you for your training and provide a supportive team around you every step of the way. We'll also fund your SVQ (SCQF Level 6/7) qualification and your PVG and SSSC registration fees.

Shift patterns
We provide support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Shift patterns fall in to earlies, lates and sleepovers. Weekends, sleepovers and public holidays would form part of your rota on a rotational basis.

Sleepover payments
Our sleepovers are separate from your contracted hours, so you’ll receive an additional payment of £107.60 for every sleepover you work - giving you the opportunity to earn extra alongside your contracted hours.
Please note - If if you have spent more than 12 months out with the UK (excluding France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania or Spain) within the last 10 years while over the age of 18, you will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant government/police authority as part of our pre-employment checks.
If you’re successful in joining our team, you will be expected to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and must be willing to work towards a SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare as required for SSSC registration. We will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
