We have a permanent 16-hour-per-week opportunity available.
What will you be doing?
No Two Days Are The Same! You’ll Support People To Get Out, Have Fun And Live Life To The Fullest Whether That’s
- Swimming
- Going to the gym
- Bowling
- Cinema trips
- Activity clubs
- Supporting college attendance
- Going out for meals or to the pub
You’ll also provide support with everyday tasks such as shopping, cooking, appointments, finances, medication, household tasks and personal care.
You’ll need to be confident in and around water, as swimming is a regular activity for one of the people we support. Due to the needs of the service, we will also need you to have full UK manual driver’s licence.
What We're Looking For - What Matters Most
No experience, don't worry, we're more interested in what you as a person will bring to our team.
We'll give you full training, pay you for your training and provide a supportive team around you every step of the way. We'll also fund your SVQ (SCQF Level 6/7) qualification and your PVG and SSSC registration fees.

Shift patterns
We understand that our colleagues like to have a good work/life balance, so we try to be as flexible as possible with our shift patterns. Our team currently deliver support between the hours of 0830-2100 hours. Shift length can be anything between 4 and 8 hours, depending on the needs of the person you will be supporting.

Please note - If if you have spent more than 12 months out with the UK (excluding France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania or Spain) within the last 10 years while over the age of 18, you will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant government/police authority as part of our pre-employment checks.
If you’re successful in joining our team, you will be expected to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and must be willing to work towards a SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare as required for SSSC registration. We will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
