An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Anaesthetic department at Colchester Hospital as a Support Secretary, part time, 30 hours per week.
We are looking for a hardworking, highly motivated team player who will also be able to work on their own initiative. You must have excellent communication skills and a friendly manner.
You should have a good level of clerical experience and good working knowledge of IT systems, although full training in the use of our systems will be provided.
If you feel you have the skills to join our team then you may just be the person we are looking for.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for the next step in their career or to gain some experience working in the NHS.
Your duties will include:
- Typing
- Reviewing rotas
- Booking meetings
- Taking minutes
- Calling patients
- Data input

Further administration duties will include retrieving patient notes, filing, photocopying, and ordering stationery.
