Support Medical Secretary
We are seeking a motivated and organised individual to join our Medical Secretary team as a Support Medical Secretary. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with administrative skills and experience who is looking to develop their career within a busy healthcare environment.
We are looking for a team player with excellent communication and organisational skills to join our Ophthalmology Medical Secretary team as a Support Medical Secretary. This is an excellent opportunity to develop within the role while supporting teams of clinicians and helping to provide an efficient and responsive medical administration service.
The successful candidate will work flexibly alongside medical secretaries, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams, contributing to the smooth running of the service and ensuring high standards of administrative support are maintained.
Responsibilities
- Dealing with telephone queries
- Typing clinical correspondence
- Inputting patient information onto our different systems and supporting with general administrative duties
- Liaising daily with colleagues including the immediate secretary team, senior and junior medical teams, management and other hospital departments
