Support Services Administrator (37 hours per week, Permanent)

Location: Contractual base in Salvus House, Durham (this role is based full time in office)
Salary range from: £25,878.00 plus a discretionary bonus potential of up to 8% of annual salary
Job Level: D
Reporting to: Support Services Manager

THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

Working within the Support Services team, the Support Services Administrator is the first point of contact in the office to provide support to all employees and visitors. Co-ordinating equipment, supporting desk bookings and general support of office needs, the Support Services Administrator is first point of contact for office and equipment queries.

WHAT WILL YOUR TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE?

Office Management and Administration

  • Manage and allocate all equipment for new starters and existing employees
  • Managing and overseeing desk bookings
  • Manage the new starter and leaver employee process
  • Maintain accurate equipment registers
  • Organise and oversee maintenance of office equipment ensuring contractors are managed where applicable
  • Provide support with/and made room bookings
  • Maintain accurate building records
  • Keep the office tidy and well presented
  • Complete compliance checks within office including but not limited to office inspections and ensuring compliance documentation remains in date
  • Be the point of contact between Wave and the landlord property management team, establishing a strong relationship with landlord/property team at the office
  • Monitor and where required order stationary/office supplies
  • General day-to-day office administrative tasks (including sorting/scanning post, emptying of dishwashers)
  • Administrative support for sustainability management and social value

  • Booking of travel and accommodation requests
  • Maintaining accurate log of travel and accommodation requests

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

We’d love to hear from you if you have worked in a facilities or receptionist role and have experience in administration. You will have exceptional customer service skills with the ability to see a situation from a ‘customer’s’ point of view. You will be:

  • A strong team player with proven stakeholder engagement
  • Flexible and proactive, with a can-do attitude
  • Highly organised
  • Approachable with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Skilled in data management and maintaining accurate record
  • Proficient and up to date in using Microsoft Office Packages
