Are you looking for a new, exciting, and challenging role, where you can fully utilise your administration and customer service management skills? If so, we have a sound opportunity for a Support Service Supervisor to join our Team at Hinkley Point C!
This is a part time vacancy - 24 Hours per week
What you'll do
You will manage the team responsible for providing administration support to all managers, the wider Turnbull team and the client(s) when required. Ensure that all onboarding, delivery management and time in attendance systems is completed with accuracy by the team. Ensure the team maintains a level of compliance within contractual budgetary controls and with adherence to set KPIs. Be the first point of contact for all general enquiries and take the lead on following up actions, whilst maintaining a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers. Actively promote Turnbull and be an excellent brand ambassador.
To manage and take accountability of the team responsible for:
- ensuring all personnel and vehicles across Turnbull have correct access rights and are managed to avoid disruption to the delivery teams, inclusive of DCO Licencing conditions
- safeguarding the compliance of all WIMS profiles for Turnbull Stakeholders
- ensuring the onboarding of personnel is processed in line with NNB requirements
- managing and preparing documentation for monthly WIMS audits as requested by the client, ensuring no disruptions to the delivery teams on site
- ensuring good liaison with other Turnbull departments, including Tier 2 + 3 sub-contractors, promoting a consistent approach, building relationships, and providing resolution of identified problems
- managing and maintaining the ordering, storing, and issuing of PPE/office supplies for the whole Turnbull team
- converting all paper files into electronic format by scanning and filing onto IMS
- ensuring the effective and efficient uploading of all company documents to Teamcenter
- managing correspondence by answering emails/queries within all joint inboxes
- supporting the wider team with all ADHOC administration requests
- maximising team productivity to make the most of resources and being able to show value to the client.

To ensure the following is actioned when required:
- support given to recruiting managers with new starter documentation and IT Set up
- communicate all site and client communications as well as internal and external communications across all social media platforms and our website.
What you'll need
Relevant supervisor experience, preferably in the water/construction industry.
Ability to plan, organise and anticipate requirements well in advance to support the smooth running of the Support Services team.
Ability to create a working environment where the team can develop and thrive.
Ability to work within an agile environment, manage tight and often conflicting timescales and problem solve efficiently and effectively.
Highly proficient in all Microsoft packages – Outlook, Word, Excel, Email, Visio, and PowerPoint skills.
Proactive, organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
Effective communication skills at all levels. Being able to operate with diplomacy, tact, and empathy.
Ability to deal with large data sets and provide analysis for reporting.
