Field Service / Onsite IT Support Engineer
Location: Perth, UK
Work Model: Fully Onsite – 5 days per week
Contract Rate: Up to £150 per day
We are looking for a hands-on and customer-focused Field Service / Onsite IT Support Engineer to provide day-to-day technical support to end users in Perth, UK.
This opportunity is suitable for candidates with experience in IT Support, Field Service, Desktop Support, Deskside Support, End User Computing (EUC), or Onsite Support. Those with relevant hands-on experience are encouraged to apply, even if their current job title is different.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite IT and technical support to end users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to laptops, desktops, printers, peripherals, software, and basic network connectivity.
- Install, configure, replace, and deploy IT hardware and software.
- Support Windows devices and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Perform hardware break/fix activities and basic device troubleshooting.
- Provide basic support for Active Directory, user accounts, and access-related issues.
- Log, manage, and update incidents and service requests through an ITSM or ticketing system.
- Coordinate with remote support teams and third-party vendors when required.
- Support IT asset tracking, device inventory, and hardware replacement activities.
- Maintain accurate ticket updates and technical documentation.
- Deliver professional and customer-focused support to users.

Required Skills and Experience
- Experience in IT Support, Field Service, Onsite Support, Desktop Support, Deskside Support, or EUC Support.
- Hands-on experience supporting Windows laptops and desktop devices.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, computer hardware, software, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Basic understanding of Active Directory and network connectivity.
- Experience with ITSM or ticketing tools is beneficial.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fully onsite environment.
