This is an opportunity you don’t want to miss. We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Time & Recovery Navigator to join our team in Humberside to work within our police custody.
Hours
This position is full time - 37.5 hours per week
12 hour shifts over a 7 day service (6 week rota to include weekends)
Salary
You will receive a salary of £29,264 to £33,510 depending on experience
Location
Hull with expectation to travel to Grimsby on occasion

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.

What you'll be doing
As our new Support Time & Recovery Navigator, you will:

- Be part of an extended team working across Liaison & Diversion service
- Work within our police custody suites to support our service users
- Support access to the full scope of identified health needs, including substance misuse (alcohol and drugs), mental and physical health, homelessness, learning disabilities, exploitation, safeguarding and social care issues
- Be involved in the daily support of children and adults, including those from hard-to-reach communities to engage and navigate through the Criminal Justice System

Qualifications and skills required:
- Experience of working with service users, face to face, with a variety of health needs
- Relevant experience working as/within Mental Health and/or Recovery support services
- Excellent communication skills and ability to gain appropriate level of consent
- Understanding of clinical governance, health and safety
- Motivated as an individual and when working in a team
- Patient centered values and ability to promote service user involvement
