Looking for a rewarding role where you can truly change someone's life? We're searching for compassionate and dependable Care Assistants to join our dedicated team supporting an adult client in his home in Ilfracombe, EX34.
In this meaningful role, you'll provide personalised support to a client living with a brain tumour, who experiences difficulties with balance, coordination, swallowing, and uses a PEG tube. Don't worry if you don't have clinical experience in these areas – full specialist training will be provided before you begin.
The client lives at home with his husband and their small, friendly dog, creating a warm and welcoming environment where your care and support will make a genuine impact every day. The role also includes supporting the client to enjoy social and leisure activities, including assisting him to attend the gym, local Pilates classes, and spending time at the beach, therefore we are seeking candidates with a full UK driving licence.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
