Part Time – 30 Hours
Supported Living North Yorkshire has an opportunity for a Support Worker to join our team. This role is offered on a part-time basis working 30 hours per week.
Supported Living North Yorkshire delivers tailored outreach support across North Yorkshire and the East Riding. We work with adults diagnosed with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions, often with complex needs.
Our 24/7 specialist supported living services are designed to promote independence while providing the right level of support, including 1:1 and 2:1 staffing where required. We empower individuals to build essential life skills and live as independently as possible.
What you'll be doing
- You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents' wellbeing.
- We take a personalized approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future.
- You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity, and treatment of residents.
- Through own professional behavior, including adhering to policies and procedures, contributes to the maintenance of safety, security, and confidentiality standards.
- To undertake key working responsibility for individual service users, supporting the individual to plan goals and personal outcomes and ensure that these are comprehensively documented and reviewed.
- Innovation: The role holder should have a flexible and innovative approach to their work and be able to facilitate and support service users in decision-making, promoting choice and involvement at all times.
- Value: The role holder should present the service in a positive light and should be proactive in making suggestions for how to improve the service.
