Job Title

No evenings. No weekends. Real impact. £13.00 per hour · 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 4:30pm · Permanent, 6 month probation · Across Birmingham. Part time (3 or 4 days) considered.

At Crossroads Housing and Support we believe everyone deserves more than a roof over their head. We provide safe, fully furnished homes for adults facing homelessness, and we work side by side with them to build a better future. As a Support Worker you will help people in your own city move into work, education and a home of their own, and you will know you were part of the reason they got there.

What you will do

  • Support a caseload of 20 to 25 residents across our Birmingham properties, giving each one hour of one to one support every week.
  • Help residents follow their support plans and reach their goals, such as finding work or securing their own home.
  • Keep homes safe and welcoming through regular property and safety checks.
  • Resolve household issues and encourage a positive living environment.
  • Keep accurate support notes on our systems and report progress to your manager.
  • Be the first point of contact for your residents, including by phone.
  • Bring ideas to improve how we work. We listen.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
