iAspire Care Services Ltd is looking for reliable, responsible and compassionate Support Workers to join our supported accommodation service for young people.

The successful candidate must be confident working independently while ensuring the safety, wellbeing and development of young people and following all safeguarding and organisational procedures.

βœ… Essential Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or a relevant qualification
  • Experience in supported living, supported accommodation or social care
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Ofsted requirements and standards
  • Experience supporting young people is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management and professional boundaries
  • Confident working independently and undertaking lone working duties
  • Ability to respond calmly and appropriately to challenging situations
  • Excellent communication and record-keeping skills
  • Reliable, punctual and professional
  • Willingness to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends

πŸ”‘ Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day to day support, guidance and encouragement to young people
  • Promote independence, life skills and positive decision making
  • Complete welfare checks and respond appropriately to concerns
  • Maintain accurate daily records, handovers and support documentation
  • Monitor the safety and wellbeing of young people
  • Follow safeguarding, health & safety and emergency procedures
  • Report and respond appropriately to incidents
  • Maintain professional boundaries at all times
  • Complete property and environmental checks
  • Liaise with managers and relevant professionals when required
  • Undertake sleep in duties as part of the role
