Support Workers & Care Assistants We Want You!

We are looking for calm, patient, and hardworking individuals with a friendly disposition who are keen to join our friendly care team. You will be expected to provide care at a high standard in order to help the residents and ensure that you are always there for them. Experience is preferred but not essential for this role, as the ability to demonstrate unconditional positive regard in a positive behavioral support setting is the primary factor.
Responsibilities
- Provide care at a high standard in a Health & Social-care environment.
- Work within a positive behavior support framework.
- Accept responsibility, handle stress, and grow in confidence as a skilled practitioner.
- Follow agreed guidelines and work positively within a consistent, mutually supportive team ethos.

Requirements
- Friendly disposition and a keen interest in joining a care team.
- Ability to demonstrate unconditional positive regard in a positive behavioral support setting.
- Previous experience and relevant qualifications in care are preferred but not essential.
- Full training including online e-learning is available through our preferred training academy.
Working Hours
- Flexibility to cover a mixture of days, nights, sleep in shifts, and waking watches.
- Care is provided 24 hours, 7 days a week.
- Good flexibility in being able to cover a mixture both during the week and weekends.
- Work will always be scheduled according to your availability.
Role and Development
- Opportunity to undertake the responsible role of being a Support Worker/Care Assistant.
- Plan alongside members of the person’s circle of support to enable individuals to be happy, healthy, and to achieve their wishes and aspirations.
- Person-centered planning meetings and processes are co-produced with the people we support and their families to promote a unified approach.
- Set meaningful and inspirational goals, which Support Workers have a particular responsibility to work towards.
- Develop skills that can underpin a successful career in adult social care.
