We are looking for calm, patient and hardworking individuals with a friendly disposition and are keen to join our friendly care team. You will be expected to provide care at a high standard in order to help the residents and ensure that you are always there for them. Experience is preferred but not essential for this role, as the ability to demonstrate unconditional positive regard in a positive behavioural support setting is the primary factor.
Role Requirements
- Maturity to work within a positive behaviour support framework
- Ability to accept responsibility, handle stress and grow in confidence as a skilled practitioner
- Ability to follow agreed guidelines and work positively within a consistent, mutually supportive team ethos

Training and Qualifications
- Previous experience and relevant qualifications in care are preferred but not essential
- Full training, including online e-learning, is available through our preferred training academy
Work Flexibility
- Ability to cover a mixture of days, nights, sleep-in shifts, and waking watches
- Flexibility to cover both during the week and weekends is required
- We will try to find you work according to your availability
Role Responsibilities
- Undertake the responsible role of being a Support Worker/Care Assistant
- Plan alongside members of the person’s circle of support to enable individuals to be happy, healthy, and to achieve their wishes and aspirations
- Participate in person-centered planning meetings and processes co-produced with the people we support and their families
- Set and work towards meaningful and inspirational goals
