About The Role

We are looking for a caring and reliable Support Worker to join a small, dedicated team in Maidstone.

At this service you will be supporting adults that live in 5 individual flats. You will support with all aspects of their daily lives, from community based activities, cooking, cleaning, in house activities, shopping and personal care. The aim is to assist them to maintain their existing skills and develop new ones as well as maintain their health and achieve ambitions as set out in their support guidelines.

  • 1:1 support 24/7 and 2:1 support out in the community is required at this service.

Your role will involve helping with everyday tasks such as personal care, dressing, cooking, and keeping her home clean and tidy. You will also drive to activities, which includes horse riding, the gym, swimming, cinema, reflexology, shopping, night clubs, and visits to an activity farm. You will assist with medication and keep accurate records, and full training will be provided. Good communication skills are important because you will work to a person-centred support plan and liaise with professionals, family members, and your team.

Hours

This is a part-time role of 30 hours.

Location

The role is based in the Sutton Road area of Maidstone.

About You

We are looking for someone who is patient, kind, reliable and holds a full UK driving licence. This role suits someone who enjoys working independently and can follow structured plans and routines.
