Key Care & Support are looking for an experienced and passionate Support Worker to join our team to Support Sammy in the family home based in Altrincham.
Experience and Skills Required:
- Minimum of 2 years experience supporting adults with enhanced needs.
- Sammy has Learning Difficulties, multiple medical needs, is non-verbal, uses an iPad to communicate and hand signs, and can make needs known.
- Must be positive, person-centred, and committed to the highest standards of care and support.
- Flexibility to cover days and nights.
Role Overview:
- Key Care & Support is looking for a skilled and values-driven Support Worker to join the team to support "Sammy," a 26-year-old man, to enable him to live a meaningful, active, and fulfilling life, while leading a staff team to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.
- Sammy has a great sense of pride in his appearance and a wide range of interests. He responds well to positive relationships, encouragement, and consistency.
- Sammy enjoys staying active, spending time in the community, and taking part in social activities such as live music events, discos, and karaoke nights.

Role Responsibilities:
- Ensuring support is proactive, respectful, and focused on quality of life.
- Ensuring a consistent and reflective approach.
- Understanding why behaviours occur and responding in ways that reduce stress and promote well-being.
- Working collaboratively with Sammy's family and professionals.
- Supporting Sammy to develop skills, make choices, and have a strong voice in decisions about his life, routines, and activities.
