Position: Support Worker
Location: Hemel Hempstead
Salary: £26,853 per annum
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Join our caring team at Lord Alexander House, supporting people with mental health needs to live independently in their own purpose-built homes. You will help create an inclusive environment where individuals feel empowered to build confidence, develop life skills and achieve their goals.
The Role
- Provide personalised support in residents’ homes
- Encourage daily living skills: budgeting, shopping, cooking, and cleaning
- Follow support plans and risk assessments
- Build positive, compassionate relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues

About You
- You are respectful, reliable, and confident communicating with people with diverse needs
- You work well independently and as part of a team
- You bring a person-centred, inclusive approach to your work
- Experience in a similar role is required
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential, along with completing at least one sleep-in per week. Shifts include weekends and bank holidays.
For sleep-ins, you will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £52.78.
