Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? Do you bring energy, positivity, and a caring nature to everything you do? We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Support Workers to join our friendly team in the beautiful community of Maesycwmmer.

About the Role

In this incredibly rewarding role, you will be supporting two amazing individuals, each with their own personalities, interests, and goals. Together, they enjoy a wide range of activities including music, exercise, films, visiting loved ones, and being active members of their community. This is a role where no two days are the same, and every day offers the chance to make a lasting difference.

We have two part-time, permanent positions available, working within a 24/7 service on a two-week rolling rota. Shifts will include a mixture of days, evenings, and weekends, along with sleep-in shifts. Typical shift times include 7am to 3pm, 10am to 5pm, and 3pm to 11pm, with an additional 8-hour sleep-in where required.

Due to the needs of the individuals we support, a full UK manual driving license is essential.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll play a key role in empowering both individuals to lead fulfilling, independent lives. Your support will involve:

  • Helping to maintain a positive, structured routine while adapting support to suit each individual’s personality, preferences, and independence levels
  • Safely managing and administering medication in line with care plans and policies
  • Encouraging independence by developing cooking, household, and daily living skills
  • Supporting access to medical appointments, local groups, community activities, and social opportunities
  • Promoting health and wellbeing, including healthy eating, exercise, and active lifestyles
  • Engaging in meaningful conversations, companionship, and emotional support, building strong and trusting relationships
  • Encouraging hobbies and passions and creating opportunities for fun and personal growth
  • Providing gentle guidance with budgeting and money management, supporting financial independence
  • Respecting personal space and routines, particularly when supporting individuals who value independence and quiet time
  • Completing clear, accurate digital recording and high-quality documentation in line with organizational standards

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
