Support Worker: Kent

Corus is recruiting on behalf of our client for dedicated Support Workers in Kent.

Location: Kent

Pay Rate: GBP 12.71 to 13.50 per hour

Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time

About The Role

Our client is seeking experienced and compassionate Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals in supported living and community settings. This is a rewarding opportunity to help people live independently while promoting their dignity, wellbeing, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide practical and emotional support tailored to individual needs.
  • Assist with personal care and daily living activities where required.
  • Support individuals to access appointments, social activities, and community services.
  • Promote independence, choice, dignity, and inclusion.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow support plans.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, and company policies at all times.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, or Healthcare Assistant.
  • Up-to-date mandatory training certificates.
  • Practical Moving and Handling training certificate (essential).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A caring, patient, and professional approach.
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends where required.
