About The Role
Support Worker – Treharris
Full Time – 39 hours per week plus sleep-ins
£13.45 - £13.75 per hour dependent on qualifications and experience, plus sleep-in payments

A Day in the Life of Working at Ty Banwen
- Ensuring individuals' physical, emotional, and social needs are met through a supportive and caring environment.
- Being a positive role model.
- Promoting independence by supporting a range of activities, hobbies, and community-based opportunities.
- Working collaboratively to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs and aspirations.
- Keeping accurate records of activities, progress, and incidents where required.
- Supporting with general housekeeping duties, including meal preparation and daily living tasks.
- Providing personal care where required, ensuring dignity, respect, and wellbeing at all times.

You'll Need
- A can-do attitude and resilient nature.
- Previous care experience is preferred but not essential.
- A current valid UK driving licence.
- Compassion and empathy.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility around shift patterns, including sleep-ins and weekends.
- To be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
Please note: This role involves working with vulnerable adults and requires an Enhanced DBS check.
