Position: Support Worker

Location: Gawcott, Buckingham

Salary: £16,110 per annum

Hours: Part-time (22.5 hours per week)

This is an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team at Old Barn, a registered care home for four adults with learning disabilities, autism, and physical disabilities.

As a Support Worker, you will provide compassionate, person-centred support, helping people feel respected, included, and empowered to develop independence and achieve their personal goals. You will work closely with colleagues, families, and professionals, valuing collaboration to create a safe and positive home environment.

About The Role

You will:

  • Support people with daily living skills, activities, and personal care
  • Promote independence, choice, and dignity
  • Help individuals work towards their goals and aspirations
  • Support medication, health, safety, and wellbeing
  • Contribute to care plans, risk assessments, and mentoring new staff

About you

You will bring experience in care or support, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to help others thrive. You will communicate well, work flexibly across shifts, and share our commitment to respect, inclusion, and empowerment.

  • Holds a care certificate or willingness to undertake a care qualification
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required
