Support Worker – Full-Time (Driver Required) | Kidwelly, SA17 4RA
About the Role
Join M&D Care as a Support Worker in Llanelli (SA15) and make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable adults. As a Support Worker, you’ll provide emotional and practical care in a residential setting. No experience is necessary—full training will be provided—but the right values are essential.

- Male drivers required due to operational need.
- The ability to drive is essential for this role.
- Full training provided; higher rates for QCF Level 2 qualified candidates.
M&D Care is a family-oriented business in Southwest Wales, delivering specialist, complex, and bespoke care for individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and mental health needs.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to vulnerable adults.
- Assist with daily living tasks, including:
- Personal care
- Meal preparation
- Medication management
- Shopping and errands
- Promote independence, dignity, and well-being through engaging activities.
- Work autonomously while ensuring safety and respect for those you support.
- Comply with regulatory standards from Social Care Wales and Care Inspectorate Wales.
- Operate on a flexible rota basis, including early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Shift Information
- Varied shifts, including weekends and night duty (rota-based).
- No prior experience required—full training provided.
- Opportunity to gain a QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care after probation.
Requirements
- Aged 18 or over.
- Genuine passion for inclusive and exceptional care.

- £13.45 per hour (up to £13.45/h, with higher rates for qualified candidates).
