We are seeking a compassionate, positive and creative individual to join our dedicated team at our learning disability services in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire.
About the Role
As a Support Worker, you’ll play an important role in supporting four residents to live happy, fulfilling and independent lives. You will provide practical and emotional support with day-to-day activities, including budgeting, shopping, medication support and personal care when required. You will support our residents both at home and out in the community, helping them build confidence, develop their independence, and make the most of the opportunities around them.
Responsibilities

- Provide practical and emotional support.
- Support residents both at home and in the community.
- Help residents build confidence and develop their independence.
- Engage residents in various activities, such as shopping trips, exploring new places, afternoon tea, coffee and cake trips, and more.

Requirements
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic IT skills.
- A full, clean UK driving license and access to a car (preferred).
Working Conditions
- This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week).
- Flexibility is essential, as you will be required to work across a 7-day rota, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Shift times vary depending on activities taking place, and can range from 7am starts through to 10pm finishes.
