What is the role?

Our supported living services are home to adults with varying learning and physical disability needs. Each person has their own level of independence, alongside unique strengths and support needs.

In this role, you’ll encourage individuals to maintain and develop their day-to-day independence, build confidence, and strengthen key life skills. You’ll offer support with daily activities, provide positive encouragement, and help each person work towards their personal goals.

You will also provide emotional support to people who may have additional needs such as ADHD, neurodiversity, learning disabilities, or challenges related to substance misuse. Your support will contribute to a positive, empowering environment where individuals can thrive and enjoy a fulfilling, meaningful life.

Our team follows the Active Support approach “doing with, not for” ensuring the people we support are at the heart of every decision and encouraged to live life on their own terms. This approach has had a remarkable impact, and as part of the team, you’ll experience the rewarding feeling of seeing the difference you make every single day.

You will be expected to support with daily aspects of living, including:

  • Daily Living Support: Assist with personal care, medication administration, cooking, household tasks, and cleaning.
  • Community & Social Engagement: Support individuals in attending appointments, accessing local groups, participating in hobbies like walking/hiking, and engaging in meaningful activities that promote independence and life skills.
  • Companionship & Wellbeing: Build positive relationships by talking about their interests, providing emotional support, and encouraging fun, fulfilling experiences.
  • Skill Development: Help individuals manage finances, improve household skills, and grow in confidence.
  • Teamwork & Communication: Work collaboratively, contribute ideas, and maintain high standards of communication and documentation.
  • Adaptability: Support individuals based on their unique needs, including occasional lone working and bringing fresh perspectives to improve the service.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
