About The Role
At Choice Support, we believe everyone should have the chance to live a life that feels good, connected and full of possibility. We're looking for full and part-time Support Workers to join our amazing teams across 2 services in Biggleswade!
No two days will be the same supporting people to achieve their very best. You will have a varied array of tasks whilst on shift; everything from cooking & cleaning, taking part in activities and games, managing challenging behaviours and even putting your feet up watching TV with the people you are supporting. We aim to create a positive, relaxed home environment where the people we support feel safe, supported & listened to. You will be supported and guided by senior staff members to establish appropriate boundaries, manage behaviours effectively and nurture the people we support towards positive futures.
This is a 24 hours service 7 days a week, so flexibility is required.

Hours
Full time (39) and part time hours starting from 16 hours per week are available.
You will be required to work waking nights 2/3 per month. Shifts are 9:15 am till 7:15 am
Location
Both services are located in Biggleswade, Buckinghamshire.
About You
We’re not looking for any kind of specific experience. It is your personality and values that will make you a good fit for the role and our organisation. We will train and develop you to become a great support worker if you:
- Have genuine empathy for the people we support, with the positivity, patience, and resilience to support them through difficult times.
- Enjoy teamwork and take pride in getting a job done well alongside your colleagues.
- Have excellent face to face communication skills and a good standard of literacy.
- Have good time management skills and the ability to prioritise your own workload.
A full UK driving licence is required for this role!
