Our charity was founded in 1988 and we were one of the pioneers of the ‘Care in the Community’ agenda, enabling people to move out of long-stay institutions and live more fulfilling lives.

Since then, we’ve remained leaders in social care, providing bespoke support to thousands across the UK. Today, we support more than 2,600 people and employ 6,600 caring and committed colleagues across England and Scotland.

Role Overview

Working closely with the Service Leader and Support Worker Team, you will be responsible for supporting vulnerable individuals in their day to day lives. Each person we support is unique, so the support you provide will be person-centred and will focus on achieving the best lives possible with each individual.

Our Shifts

  • 7am - 2pm
  • 10.30am - 3pm
  • 3pm - 10pm
  • 10am - 11pm
  • 10pm - 7am (Sleepover)

Shift Requirement

We are currently recruiting for staff to work a mix of the above shifts between Monday-Sunday

Contract

We have a 16-hour permanent contract available

UK Driving License Required?

No

What You'll Be Doing

You’ll be supporting 2 ladies and 1 gentleman to live their daily lives in the way they want to live them. This means you will provide support in a wide variety of ways, including:

  • Supporting with personal care
  • Medication Administration
  • Home management, including support with cooking, cleaning, shopping and budget management
  • While out and about the people we support often use wheelchairs, so you need to be fit enough to push a wheelchair!
  • Daily activities - anything and everything the people we support like to do is something you might provide support with! So come ready and willing to put yourself out there and support with gardening, arts and crafts, puzzles, going to the theatre and spa days cling, rambling, baking, listening to music and visiting local coffee shops
