About the Role
We are looking to welcome a caring Support Worker to our dedicated team at our supported living service for adults with learning disabilities in Chapeltown, Sheffield.
You will be providing support for eight individuals residing at the service. As a Support Worker, you will play a key role in enabling them to live fulfilling and meaningful lives. The role will involve identifying opportunities for people to get involved in the local community, as well as engage in their passions. No two days will be the same, as the people we support enjoy a variety of hobbies, including football, arts & crafts, and knitting.
In this role, you’ll build positive, trusting relationships with the people you support and take the time to understand what matters most to them. You will also work alongside family members, professionals, and other agencies to ensure support is truly coordinated, personalised, and focused on promoting wellbeing and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Support people to develop skills and confidence in areas such as budgeting, meal planning, shopping, and laundry.
- Providing personal care and medication support.
- Giving practical and emotional support with day-to-day living.
- Assistance with moving and handling.

Hours
We are offering both full-time and part-time hours for this role.
Hours are to be worked flexibly on a rota; including evenings, weekends, nights, and public holidays according to the needs of the service.
Location
Our service is based in Chapeltown, North Sheffield, with good access to Rotherham and surrounding areas.
