Job Role: Support Worker
Location: Hereford (HR4)
Salary: £14.05 - £14.75* per hour
Due to continued growth, we are seeking full-time Support Workers to join our team at Blackwells, Hereford!
About Blackwells
Blackwells is a residential and supported living service based in Hereford, providing support for people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and/or Mental Health needs. The residential home supports up to 7 adults.
Many of our Managers and Team Leaders joined us as a Support Worker and through ongoing training and coaching, they are continuing to move further up the accomplishment ladder!
As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service including:
- Prompting service users' independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life
- Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests
- Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying service users to routine appointments or administrating medication
- Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping
- Assisting with personal care (Depending on service user)
- Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking
