Package Description

Are you ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young individuals and deliver positive person-centred outcomes for people with complex support needs who rely on our services.

What if your job didn’t just pay the bills—but genuinely changed someone’s life?

We’re looking for compassionate, reliable, and values-driven individuals to join our Dorset Outreach team in Dorchester.

This isn’t just a role—it’s an opportunity to build a meaningful one-to-one relationship, support independence, and make a real difference every single day.

About The Person You’ll Support

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to provide person-centred support to an individual living in Dorchester, just a short walk from the Town Center.

The person you will be supporting is a friendly and independent gentleman who has a diagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome and depressive disorder. He has a great sense of humour, enjoys character impressions, and likes engaging with others through shared interests and conversation.

He is able to carry out many aspects of daily living independently, including cooking, household tasks, and personal care. Your role will focus on providing encouragement and guidance with medication management, emotional wellbeing, social opportunities, and maintaining safe online interactions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
