Location: Mirfield (WF14)
Hours: Part-time
Shifts: Days (7am – 2:30pm or 2pm – 9:30pm), Nights (9:15pm – 7:15am)
Hourly Rate: £12.81/hr – £13.61/hr (plus enhanced rates for Bank Holidays and Overtime)

About the Role
At Orchard Court, we provide specialist residential care for children and young people with complex physical disabilities, communication needs, sensory impairments, and learning disabilities.
We are looking for compassionate, resilient, and motivated individuals to join our fantastic team and help create a safe, happy, and enriching home environment.

We’re Looking For People Who
- Have experience in health and social care, childcare, education, youth work, nursing assistance, residential care, or similar people-focused roles

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Support Worker or Night Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in supporting children and young people with their daily lives, including:
- Providing high-quality person-centred care and support
- Encouraging independence and promoting choice
- Supporting communication and emotional wellbeing
- Assisting with personal care and mobility needs
- Creating positive experiences and meaningful activities
- Working closely with families and multidisciplinary professionals
- Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
For Night Support Workers, you’ll also help to ensure children and young people are safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the night, responding to their needs while maintaining a calm and caring environment.

About Orchard Court
Orchard Court is a specialist residential home in Mirfield offering full-time residential care, short breaks, and emergency placements for children and young people aged 0-18 with complex disabilities and medical needs. Our home provides a warm, homely environment where children are encouraged to have fun, build confidence, and enjoy the best possible quality of life.

Hollybank Trust is committed to Safeguarding vulnerable people, and our Safer Recruitment process requires all employees to have an Enhanced DBS check and reference checks in line with our Recruitment & Selection policy.
We will pay for your initial DBS check, unless you have a portable DBS, however, if the candidate leaves voluntarily within the first 12 months, £58.90 will be deducted from your final salary payment.
