With over 20 years of experience, Alexandras Community Care is one of Cornwall’s most established care providers. Due to expansion we now recruiting into our Supported Living team and are looking for caring, reliable people who want to make a genuine difference in Carbis Bay.

About the role

As a Supported Living Support Worker, you will support individuals with learning disabilities and other complex needs to live as independently as possible and have choice and control over their daily lives.

Your role may include:

  • Supporting with everyday routines and daily living skills
  • Helping individuals access their local community, activities and appointments
  • Providing personal care where required
  • Supporting with medication, meals and mobility
  • Following individual support plans and agreed routines
  • Understanding and responding to individual communication and behavioural needs
  • Building positive, consistent relationships with the people you support and their families

  • 0930-13:30
  • 16:30-20:30

Requirements

Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential—we provide full training for the right candidates who are compassionate, reliable, and eager to learn.

  • You must be a driver with a valid driving licence, ideally with access to a car, though pool cars are available
  • Be able to work every other weekend
  • Friendly, trustworthy and caring nature
