Would you like to join us as a Support Worker in a dedicated and vibrant staff team in a positive and diverse working environment?

Please note that for this role a full UK driving licence is required and the successful candidate must be willing to drive the service vehicle to support people to access the community.

About the Role

Furber Road is a 5 bedded service in the St. George area that supports people with learning difficulties and visual impairments, whilst also applying Positive Behavioural Support principals. The service is lively and the people we support enjoy an active and fulfilling lifestyle. It would be desirable that you have some experience of working with people with learning difficulties or visual impairment, but not essential.

  • To support people using the service to develop relationships and maintain contact with family and friends.
  • To provide people with the agreed necessary support to maximise their independence and to develop social skills and life skills.
  • To support people to access their local and wider community and maintain a presence in their community.
  • To support people to manage their personal finances, medication and plan new and exciting opportunities in their community.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
