We are a new Supported Living service in Hailsham, looking for 3 dedicated people to join us as support workers. Your role will involve working alongside adults with a learning disability. You will help them to realise their potential, live life to the full, build independent skills and live their best life. The role is varied and no two days will be the same.

Whether you have previous experience in the field or you are new to working with people with a learning disability, your life skills, great attitude and desire to support people to lead fulfilling lives is why we want to hear from you.
We are able to offer hours varying from 15-37 hours per week. Our service operates between 24 hours a day and your hours will be worked over a combination of early and late shifts between the hours of 7:30am-10pm with alternate weekend working.
We are passionate about our staff, which is why we’ll do everything we can to help you to develop both personally and professionally through your time with us.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have the ability to provide support in a person-centred way, demonstrating respect, kindness and sensitivity at all times with all aspects of their care needs.
- Can communicate both verbally and in written form with the individuals we support, and other professionals/ families involved in their care.
- Able to work in a team and independently, using their initiative and know when to seek further guidance from others.
- Able to meet the travel requirements for the post.
